Trip Information & Expectations
Kenya CYIA will be held November 25th-December 5th, 2026. We need to be there on November 24th for staff training. As it takes about 24 hours to travel there, we would leave as early as November 21st and get back December 7th or 8th. (Yes, you will be missing Thanksgiving!)
CEF staff would teach classes and be team trainers. Level 4 CYIA teens would be a student, and Level 5 CYIA teens would be either on the demo team or a team trainer.
Kenya CYIA does have a dress code, and all ladies must wear skirts or dresses to classes and club every day.
The estimated cost of the trip is around $2,000 per person, which includes flights and all needs while in Kenya. You will be required to send out support/prayer letters to raise the money for the trip. (We will provide a Breeze form for collecting the money.)
There are no vaccines required to travel to Kenya, so it will be up to you if you want to get any. We suggest that you talk to your doctor about what they think is best.
