Dear School staff, and Bible Class Teacher, I am requesting that my child, be excused from school each week for one hour (no more than two hours) for Religious Release, as provided for by Oregon law. Please have my child meet the designated adult teacher or helper at the designated place, at the appointed time, to be transported and/or escorted to a nearby facility and be returned after the release time. As this is an excused absence, please give my child any missed assignments and makeup time to complete them. I understand that my child will be supervised by a Bible Class Teach & helper who have been carefully screened with a background check. Thank you!

Nehalem Good News Club® Release Time Class is an exciting, fun-filled weekly club for kids in which the Bible is clearly taught with songs, stories, games, and more!

Your child will learn:
•God loves them
•Every person has value
•How God can help them do the right thing, find victory in hard times, show love to others, etc.

Who teaches the club?
GNC teachers are specially trained Christians who are concerned for the well-being of your child. All club workers are screened as required by the Child Evangelism Fellowship® Child Protection Policy to ensure your child’s safety.

Who can attend?
Boys and girls, K-6th grade, regardless of religious background. Parents are welcome to attend with their child.
