DAY 1
2:15pm Melrose Community Church pick-up
2:40pm Parking lot near Cascade Coffee house (712 W Harvard Ave) pick-up

3:30pm- Driving (eat a sack dinner we are not stopping except for 1 bathroom break)
7:00pm Arrive in Portland
(5:30-6:30pm Workshop Session 1) - Missing because of drive time
7:00pm-9pm Attend Session 1 (Sit together) Patrice Tsague
9:15pm Gather at the back of main room and drive to Grace Bible Fellowship church
10:15pm Get ready to sleep
10:45pm Lights out

DAY 2
6:45am Breakfast and make sack lunch (breakfast and lunch provided)
7:20am Load everything into van
7:45am Leave
9:00am Main Session 2 (Sit together)
11am-12pm Workshop 2 (buddy system)
12:00-1:30pm Lunch (buy or sack)
1:30pm Workshop 3 (buddy system)
3:00-4:30pm Main Session 3 (Sit together)
4:30-7:00pm break/dinner (buy or sack)
5:30-6:30pm Workshop 4 (buddy system)
7:00-9:00pm Main Session 4 (Sit together)
9:15pm Gather at the back of main room and drive to Grace Bible Fellowship church
10:15pm Get ready to sleep

Day 3

Who: students ages 11-20, (age 18+ with CEF background check can come as chaperones, we will have at least 2 male and 2 female chaperones) 

When: January 17-19, 2025; Friday 3pm - Sunday 4PM

Where: Sunset Church 14986 NW Cornell Rd, Portland, OR 97229 

How: Driving up Friday after-school and driving home Sunday after church (possibly one vehicle coming back Saturday night) , transportation provided.  

To bring: Sack dinner, money for lunch on Saturday and Sunday, sleeping bags (we will be sleeping at a church), personal items, your CYIA merch (if you would like to purchase, beanies are $10, pullover hoodies are $20, zip hoodies are $30) 

Cost: Suggested $10 per student to cover food that we will be providing and gas 

RSVP: Your parent must fill out this waiver by January 12th for you to have a seat in the van

I acknowledge that I have voluntarily consented to allow the Participant(s) to participate in the abovereferenced activity and I have full knowledge of the risks that this activity presents, including travel to, participation in, and returning from the activity. I as parent/guardian agree on behalf of the Participant to assume any and all risk of injury or death to the Participant. I understand and agree that as a condition of participation in this activity, I as parent/guardian of the Participant and on behalf of the Participant hereby release from liability and will indemnify, Child Evangelism Fellowship, its employees, volunteers, officers, trustees, or committee memberts for any damage, injury, or death to the Participant, or any other persons or property, that results from any negligence, but not gross negligence, of any Participant that is in any way connected with the Participant’s participation in this activity. I understand that this is a release of liability, which could legally prevent me and/or the Participant from filing a law suit or making any other legal claim for damages in the event of the Participant’s death or injury. With this knowledge, I, in my individual capacity and my capacity as parent/guardian of the Participant, am entering into this agreement fully and voluntarily. I agree that the agreement is binding upon me, my spouse, my heirs, my children including any guardian ad litem for the children, my assignees, and legal representatives. I understand and agree that I am signing this waiver and release on behalf of my minor child that I am giving up rights for the minor child.
